What the form collects
When you use the quote form we collect the name and email you give us, your phone number if you gave one, the business you work for if you mentioned one, project type, budget range, timeline, your message, a link if you added one, and how you’d like us to reply. We also get anything else you type. Please don’t send passwords, banking or health information.
What we collect automatically
When you send the form, our server writes a short line to a log. It has the time, the name of the form, a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, the result (sent, blocked or error) and your reference number. We use it only to limit spam and to find problems. It never holds who you are, your email, your message or your actual IP address. We keep these logs for about 30 days.
Our web host also keeps its own server logs, which may contain IP addresses, under its own retention schedule.
What we do with it
- To reply and prepare a quote.
- If you become a client, to run the project, invoice you and keep records.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the form.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who handles it
We use a web hosting provider and an email provider to run this site and receive your messages, and we may use accounting software once you’re a client. Ask office@valleyofdev.com if you’d like to know which ones.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics. It loads its fonts from our own server.
If you build a tray of services on our pricing and services pages, we remember it in your browser’s session storage so it survives page changes and so we can fill in the quote form for you. We don’t receive it unless you send the form. It stays on your device, and it clears when you close the tab or send a request.
We reply by email or phone, whichever you chose. We don’t send marketing email. There’s no newsletter.

How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS. Form logs are kept in a location the public can’t reach, and we limit who can read our mailbox and files. No online method is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute safety.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we have about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Write to office@valleyofdev.com. We’ll respond to these requests within 30 days.
If you’re unhappy with our answer, tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
When we change this page, we’ll update the date at the top.
