Discovery
1 to 2 weeks, ending in a written plan and a proper quote. $1,500. If you sign the build within 60 days, we take the $1,500 off. If you don’t, the plan is still yours.
Discovery is paid, and it isn’t refundable if you don’t go ahead. It is credited in full if you do.
How you pay
40% to start. 40% at a midway milestone. 20% before launch. E-transfer or cheque, due 14 days after the invoice. There’s no card payment and no online checkout: we send a quote, and then we send invoices.
When something’s not in the quote
Extra pages, a new feature, a change of mind halfway through: $120/h, quoted before we start. We’ll give you the number first, you say yes or no.
Moving a section, adding a form field or changing a template is a change. A new booking system is a project.

What changes the price
Scope, how much content we write or you supply, how many systems it touches, how many people use it, how fast you need it, and what’s already there that we’d have to work around.
About taxes
Taxes depend on what we deliver and how it’s sold. For example, hosting and some software services are taxed differently from design and custom development work. Your quote and invoice show exactly which taxes apply to each line.
