Target. We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a target and test with automated and manual checks.
What we do on this site
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on every page of this site. We check with automated tools, then by hand. That means keyboard-only navigation, zoom and large text, a narrow phone screen, reduced-motion settings and a screen reader. We also aim to follow the Accessibility for Manitobans Act, including the Information and Communication Standard.
Last review
October 27, 2026. Automated checks (axe) pass on every page. We also checked keyboard-only use and reduced-motion settings by hand. A full screen-reader review is still to come.
Known limitations
- We haven’t yet tested the quote tray’s announcements (the message that says what you added or removed) with a screen reader. Each tool also links to its own page, so you can get the same information without using the tray.
- The sample concepts on the Work page are illustrations. Their alt text describes what they show, but the interface detail in the pictures isn’t read out in full. The text on the page carries the same information.
- Our services pages have tables. They’re built to stack on small screens, and we’re still checking how they read in different screen readers.
If you hit a problem, we’d like to know.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you’d like information in another format, write to office@valleyofdev.com or call 204-510-2068. Tell us the page and what happened. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can, on business days.
We can provide information in alternative formats and communication supports on request, for example by phone, large print or plain text.
Building for others
When we build for you, we build to WCAG 2.1 AA as a target. We cover what that means for your project in the proposal.
